I took a philosiphy class a couple years ago, and this made complete sense to me

This in not necessarily about believing in God, but instead blindly believing in the bible…

Also, I dont know why Im posting this. Im high…

Greed is sin

sin leads to hell

doing good for others without expectation for reward is not greedy

however, doing things for others with expectation of a positive outcome

is greedy

if your expectation for doing a good thing is to eventually get to heaven

then you are being greedy

and therefore going to hell

The bible tells us to do good for others

in order to get into heaven

but that in turn, leads to a greedy conviction

and returns the good-doer to hell

If god had wanted a bible to be written

detailing the existence of god

people would then believe in god

and try to do good to get to heaven

again, leading to greed

and damning to hell

therefore, a God does not want people to know he exists

because if he does not exist

and heaven does not exist

then people will do things for others

just becaus it is the right thing to do

and eventually be welcomed into heaven, should it exist

athiests, although not believing in god, heaven, or hell

are the most likely ones to get into heaven

if it does truly in fact exist

this goes to prove that the bible

may not be a book of good, but a book of evil

and information contained within

does not truly divulge the proper way of human living

and makes all comands and “truths” contained within

deceiving.

therfore, not everything in the bible

should be used as a guiding force of good

people should do what is good

becaause thats what they feel is good

the promise of heaven for those who follow what the bible says

can possibly, and most logically, lead them to hell

TRUST YOUR INSTINCTS

TRUST YOUR MORALS

SO…

IT IS NOT WHAT YOU ARE TOLD TO DO

NOT WHAT YOU SHOULD DO

BUT BECAUSE IT IS HUMAN NATURE,

BECAUSE IT IS WHAT YOU WANT TO DO

This is not to say that I do not respect those who

use the bible as guiding force of good in their PERSONAL lives

but when you base your life off of it

for a better shot at getting into heaven

and base your opinion of others lives on it

it seems to me you are going against

all that the bible “teaches” you to believe in

IMHO

I may be commiting some sort of fallacy here in my reasoning,

but in my state of mind right now, this just

seems to make sense
